Hey everyone!
I’m spending a month in Spain this summer (I’m 18) and cannot wait! I’m so excited.
I will be staying with a host family and was wondering, which of these towns are the most fun/have the best nightlife? Of course, I’m very excited to (hopefully) finally reach fluency in Spanish but I would like to have some fun too!
Which would you recommend?
Cadiz
Conil
Tarifa
Nerja
Granada/Seville may also be possible
Thanks so much!
Lena
p.s I love larger cities so I’d gravitate more towards Cadiz than, say, Tarifa, but I’m worried as I’ve heard the accent is very harsh?

Seville. They have a very active night life. I have friends studying abroad there right now and they go out almost every night. The city has a lot of history and a beautiful gothic cathedral. Absorb the history by day, party at night; what more could you want? The accent in Seville is distinct, but nothing that you shouldn’t be able to handle. If you end up in southern Spain go to Granada and check out the Alhambra. Amazing. You can then take a one hour ferry to Morocco and maybe catch dinner or something. Happy travels.
